Al-Dana Aldana

Mr. Al-Dana Aldana handles the financial reporting between international sponsors and the university. He primarily assists students with maintaining their sponsorship status, plus he is responsible for invoicing, data entry, and records-keeping. Additionally, Mr. Aldana oversees events management for the sponsored student population by leading off-campus recreational field trips which offer cultural education as well as service-learning field trips which inspire civic engagement.

Before joining Sponsored Student Programs in Spring 2014, Mr. Aldana worked for a non-profit agency handling Refugee Resettlement. On a personal level, he has deeply benefited from the privilege of working with the international expat population over the last 11 years. As a student, he volunteered with UNT International throughout his undergrad career in addition to experiencing the study abroad program in Saudi Arabia. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of North Texas.
