What have you done since your IELI graduation?
After I graduated from IELI, I applied UNT as a transfer student. In 2 years, I graduated from the University of North Texas. Now, I am waiting for permission to work in the United States.

Why did you choose to study at UNT? What did you major in?
My first reason for choosing UNT was because the tuition is cheaper than other universities in Texas. UNT also accepted many of my credits that I had gotten from my prior university, Konkuk University. Therefore, I could graduate from UNT with a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature.

What did you like most about IELI? About UNT?
IELI was the best place to study English. Every day students study English more than 5 hours with friends from all over the world. I met friends not only from Asia, but also from Europe, South America, Africa, and the Middle East. IELI teachers are very smart and clear in their teaching styles, and the system of IELI is well organized. It gives many great chances for students to experience and enjoy the life in the U.S.

In addition, UNT is the best music school in the U.S. As a state university, its education level is really good. Moreover, UNT is very open to international students getting scholarships. Both the campus and town are very beautiful and safe to live.

How did IELI help you meet your goals?
Before studying at IELI, I already had a high enough TOEFL score to apply to a university in the U.S., but I wanted to study English deeply. Satisfactorily, while I was studying at IELI, I could solve lots of grammatical questions that I had not before. IELI gives practical and necessary studying situations in learning English, so I didn't have hard time doing essays and assignments as I attended the university. In other words, IELI helped me to complete my English degree.

Did IELI help you gain confidence in your use of English?
Definitely. IELI was so helpful to me to develop confidence using English. Also, IELI works as a bridge to make American friends.

What’s your advice to students who want to study at a U.S. university?
If you have dreamt of studying at a university in the U.S., I would like to recommend you to study at IELI first. It is so very helpful in making your English perfect, and I have never regretted studying at IELI.
