  • Fellows can be citizen of any country
  • Fellows should have a PhD degree (or equivalent) or have at least five years of research experience
  • Fellows should be invited by a hosting institution in TURKEY, which can be universities, research institutions, or industrial companies with a R&D unit
  • Fellows on Sabbatical leave should be invited for duration of at least 3 months.

Abstract

The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (Tubitak) grants fellowships to international scientists/researchers that support workshops/conferences/lecturers or R&D activities. Applications are accepted on a continuous basis. There are three types of fellowship programs:

  1. Visiting Scientists/researchers on Short-term (up to 1 month):
  • Conducting workshops/conferences/seminars etc.
  • Giving tutorials/lectures etc.
  • Participating in R&D activities
  • Organizing technical meetings for scientific and technological collaboration
  1. Visiting Scientists/researchers on Long term (up to 12 months):
  • Conducting research and development (R&D)
  • Teaching graduate/undergraduate courses etc.
  1. Scientists/researchers on SABBATICAL LEAVE (from 3 months to 12 months):
  • Conducting research and development (R&D)
  • Teaching graduate/undergraduate courses etc.

Abstract

DLR – DAAD Research Fellowships’ is a new programme implemented by the ‘Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt’ (DLR) and the ‘German Academic Exchange Service’ (DAAD). DLR is Germany´s national research center for aeronautics and space. This special programme is intended for highly-qualified foreign doctoral and postdoctoral students as well as senior scientists to conduct special research at the institutes of the DLR in Germany.

  • Academic Disciplines: aeronautics, space, transportation, and energy
  • Project Period:
    • Type A (Doctoral Students): 36 months
    • Type B (Postdoctoral Students): 6 to 24 months
    • Type C (Senior Scientists): 1 to 3 months
  • Award Amount:
    • Type A (Doctoral Students): 1,365 Euros plus travel allowance, health insurance, and family allowances
    • Type B (Postdoctoral Students): 2,000 Euros
    • Type C (Senior Scientists): 2,300 Euros
