International Scholarships
Education is expensive in the United States. It is difficult to secure a scholarship to fund a college education in the United States. Therefore, you must plan ahead. Explore a variety of options.
Look at funding sources from your country, the UNT Scholarship office, UNT departments and external sources.
Any student who receives a competitive scholarship of $US 1000 or more is eligible for the Texas resident tuition. This in-state tuition rate is considerably lower than the out-of-state tuition.
Be sure to check the details of each scholarship to learn if the award qualifies you for this resident/in-state tuition.
Important Note: Deadlines and information may change at any time by official action of UNT. Check with the appropriate office to confirm information. Also, see essc.unt.edu/finaid/.
