ternational Student and Scholar Services welcomes the more than 2600 international students and scholars to UNT. We hope that you will enjoy your studies and research, and enjoy Denton also.
In order to stay here to accomplish your goals, you need to comply with immigration regulations. The staff in International Student and Scholar Services is here to help you do that.
The staff in International Student and Scholar Services is provides assistance to international students, international researchers, faculty, and other scholars. The staff also assists UNT department personnel with immigration matters.
U.S. immigration regulations are very complex. The regulations require international students, scholars and visitors to know and comply with those regulations. The staff at International Students and Scholar Services has extensive knowledge and experience with regulations applying to international students and scholars. The staff provides individual consultations, workshops, written information to help internationals learn, understand, and comply with the regulations.
The staff also provides documentation necessary for students and scholars to maintain their statuses.
Regulations require that UNT complies with the immigration regulations also. The staff at ISSS interacts with government offices to maintain the certifications for UNT.
ISSS staff welcomes clients on a walk-in basis, and also answers inquiries by phone and email. Immigration is complicated. We are committed to helping university students, scholars, faculty and staff with the processes.
