Greetings from the International Welcome Center and Programs!
Our office is the gateway to the University of North Texas for all international students, scholars and visitors. The International Welcome Center and Programs conducts new student orientation for all new international students and also coordinates various intercultural programs and events year-round.
Students also gather in the "Welcome Center" to meet and make new friends, surf the internet, study or just hang-out and relax. So, come on by!

International Education Week - A joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, the Welcome Center coordinates programs and events in promoting and educating the UNT and Denton community every November.
Global Interact – Denton's community group committed to friendship with international students at the University Of North Texas and Texas Woman's University. They also host annual events: An American Thanksgiving Dinner for International Students, and An American Picnic in the Park.
World Echoes – A recognized multicultural student organization of UNT whose members consists of students from all over the world. WE aims "to increase awareness of global issues preparing students for success in diverse environments" through social, educational, and volunteer activities.
