Time goes by fast. It has been a year and a half since I came to the United States and started studying at UNT. During these eighteen months, I really learned a lot of things. The study abroad experience is special to every international student, including me. I have to face the new challenges and try to solve the problems I meet by myself every day. These problems and challenges I met brought me experience rather than frustration.

I grew up in a big city; I was used to the crowded people and the high buildings before I came to UNT. Therefore, I did feel uncomfortable when I came to a university in such a quiet country. But later on, I became used to such conditions. I was told that the people in Texas are really guileless before I came to UNT. After I came here, I did find that the people here are nice and kind. I can always meet those kind people when I need help. In addition, since UNT is located in a quiet small town, I didn't receive much negative influence when I was studying, though the traffic is not as convenient as in big cities. Thus I could focus on study in a quiet condition.

Before I started my bachelor's degree at UNT, I had studied English in IELI for one term. In my point of view, IELI will provide great help on both life and study for those international students who have just come to the United States. With the help of IELI, I could quickly get used to the life here in the United States.

To those international students who are looking forward to studying in the United States, UNT is really a good choice. The tuition here is not as expensive as at some other colleges. There is also no complicated language condition at UNT. You are welcomed to study and achieve your dream at UNT!
