  • 82% of international students indicated feeling welcome on campus
  • 81% of international students feel they are treated with respect in the classroom

Areas of Opportunity:

  • 31% of international students think the university is diverse, but not inclusive
  • 39% of respondents said they had taken courses that required them to believe or conform to behaviors outside their own personal convictions
  • 59% were not aware of the trainings offered by Institutional Equity and Diversity
  • 90% of international students live off-campus, and 49% indicated they do not feel safe off-campus
  • 36.7% of international students work on-campus to help pay for their tuition and fees
