Global Venture Fund
The Global Venture Fund supports innovative projects and initiatives that advance UNT’s strategic global engagements within the following areas: (a) hosting academic conferences/workshops at UNT, (b) conducting collaborative research/creative activities abroad, and (c) hosting visiting international scholars at UNT.
The Charn Uswachoke International Development Fund (Charn Fund) is a generous endowment from Mr. Charn Uswachoke, an alumnus from Thailand. The 2022-2023 Charn Fund supports faculty initiatives that prepare internationally competent UNT graduates within the following curricular and co-curricular internationalization categories: (a) study abroad site visits, (b) collaborative learning, (c) global speakers: as part of the curriculum, and (d) international co-curricular programs.
The Graduate Research Experiences Abroad Travel (GREAT) Grant provides funding for graduate students to undertake research abroad related to their thesis/dissertation for a minimum of twenty-five (25) continuous days abroad.
International Travel Grant for Graduate Students
The International Travel Grant supports the professional development and global scholarship of UNT graduate students. UNT graduate students must receive a Toulouse Graduate School Travel Grant AND present research or a creative activity at a professional meeting/venue abroad (outside of the U.S.)
- November 30 for travel occurring September-December
- January 31 for travel occurring January - April
- May 31 for travel occurring May-August
