Gordon Clark serves as the Director and Assistant Dean of the Intensive English Language Institute. In addition to teaching at and directing university-based programs in the United States for several years, Clark taught EFL in Japan for three years. His professional engagement includes service as a former president of EnglishUSA, a site reviewer for the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA), and advocacy vice president for both University and College Intensive English Programs (UCIEP) and EnglishUSA. He is thrilled to introduce students to IELI at UNT with its 40+ year history of excellence of teaching English mastery and preparing students for university study. He has a master’s degree in TESL from Brigham Young University.
