Rekha Gopalakrishnan is Assistant Director of Scholar Services. Rekha first came to the US during her Senior year of high school as an exchange student through the Rotary Youth Exchange program. She later came back to Dallas, Texas and attended Richland College and University of Texas at Dallas as an international student. Rekha has masters' degrees in Mathematics and Science Education from UTD and Higher Education Policy/Leadership from SMU. She has over 10 years of experience in the field of education. Prior to joining UNT, she worked as an International Student Advisor at SMU and as an Academic Advisor at TWU. Rekha loves active travel and feels that it is the best way to interact with people in different countries and learn about their cultures.
