Be sure to check out the Eagle Scholarship Portal. The Eagle Scholarship Portal application cycle opens annually in the Fall semester. Learn how to apply for scholarships at UNT.

The International Education Scholarship, the Pakistan Student Scholarship, and The Pay It Forward Pakistani Scholarship of NT are all included in UNT's Eagle Scholarship Portal. These scholarships are open to ALL students at UNT and are managed by International Affairs.

International Texas Public Education Grant 

The International Student Texas Public Education Grant provides limited financial assistance to eligible non-immigrant international students on F and J visas. Students must demonstrate financial need to pay the estimated minimum tuition, fees, and other expenses for enrollment in UNT credit-bearing coursework. Students must be enrolled one academic year (2 long semesters) prior to application.

Special Circumstances Funding

International students facing a financial emergency must present evidence of need to an international advisor to request support. Special Circumstances Funding is available on a limited basis to international students experiencing unusual and extreme hardship (U.S. medical bills, hospitalization, death in the immediate family.) Students MUST be referred to the application by an international advisor.
