Transferring your SEVIS record to another U.S. University

1. Contact the International Student and Scholar Services office and your host (Global Partnerships, SSP or Study Abroad).
2. To transfer to another U.S. University, ISSS will need the completed Transfer Out Form

• Part 1Should be completed by the J-1 Scholar/Student who would like to transfer to another institution in the United States
• Part 2 Request the Alternate Responsible Officer or Responsible Officer at the gaining institution complete and return this form by email to jinfo@unt.edu

Once approved by your host, ISSS and the gaining institution, then the SEVIS record can be transferred
