Travel Endorsements for J Visa Holders
J-1 and J-2 Visa Holders
- DS-2019 must be valid.
- DS-2019 must be endorsed (signed) for travel by a Responsible Officer BEFORE traveling
- See bottom right of DS-2019 "TRAVEL ENDORSEMENT BY RESPONSIBLE OFFICER."
- Check block #2 of DS-2019 to view name of sponsor.
- If sponsor is UNT, submit DS-2019 for endorsement
- If not UNT, please contact sponsor for an endorsement.
- Endorsement is valid for one year or through the end of your program (whichever comes first).
- J-1 must be in valid status.
