International Student and Scholar ServicesZuleykha Asadova is an Associate International Advisor with a passion for cultural exchange and global education. Originally from Azerbaijan and raised in Russia, Zuleykha first came to the US as an exchange student through the International Research and Exchanges Board (IREX) to study Anthropology at North Dakota State University. She later returned to earn her BA in History and Cultural Anthropology from Minnesota State University Moorhead. Zuleykha also holds a Master of Arts in International Relations and European Studies at Central European University in Budapest, Hungary. Zuleykha has over 10 years of experience in Intercultural Communication and Cross-cultural Training. She joined ISSS  in January 2025. A lifelong language enthusiast, she is fluent in Russian, Azerbaijani, and Turkish, with a basic proficiency in Hindi/Urdu. Outside of work, Zuleykha enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending quality time with her family, often building LEGO creations together.
