Travel Endorsements for J1 Scholars

DS-2019 must be valid.

J-1 must be in valid status.

DS-2019 must be endorsed (signed) for travel by a Responsible Officer BEFORE traveling.

• See bottom right of DS-2019 "TRAVEL ENDORSEMENT BY RESPONSIBLE OFFICER." 
• Check block #2 of DS-2019 to view name of sponsor. 

If sponsor is UNT, submit DS-2019 for endorsement.

• If sponsor is not UNT, please contact sponsor for an endorsement.

Endorsement is valid for one year or through the end of your program (whichever comes first).
