Fulbright Student Week

RULE PUBLICATION ANNOUNCEMENT

A new federal immigration rule is scheduled to be published on July 17 and will go into effect in 60 days. The rule replaces Duration of Status (D/S) with fixed‑date admissions for student and exchange visitor visa holders in the U.S., and makes changes to regulations related to educational objectives, including requirements affecting transfers, changes of major, and changes of degree level. The University is currently reviewing the rule and will provide regular updates and additional information as it becomes available.

Please note: International Advising will NOT be available on Friday, July 17. The office will be open for document pick-up and routine questions.

Funded opportunities to conduct research, teach English, or pursue graduate programs abroad.

UNT Fulbright Student Week promotes opportunities available through the Fulbright U.S. Student Program.

Individuals must have a Bachelor's degree by Summer 2027, and be U.S. citizens to be eligible to apply .
