Evelyn Davie awarded the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) Leading Change in Latin America Fellowship.

English major and junior Evelyn Davie has received the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) Leading Change in Latin America Fellowship for a Spring 2026 study abroad semester. Davie was one of only 100 competitive student leaders across the country selected for the fully funded fellowship, a campaign designed to boost international engagement and study abroad participation among American university students in Latin American destinations.

Davie will complete her Spring 2026 fellowship in Buenos Aires, Argentina; Santiago, Chile; and Monteverde, Costa Rica. Outside of her classes, she will serve as a global ambassador for the CIEE campaign, spearheading creative storytelling initiatives that highlight Latin America’s strength as a premier destination for educational exchange. While abroad, fellows will document their journeys through social media, blogs, and video content, and will continue to promote engagement with Latin America as campus ambassadors upon returning to their home institutions.
