Jeffrey Rasch is an adjunct instructor in the Intensive English Language Institute. Rasch has taught English as a second or foreign language in China, Brazil, and Japan besides the US. He has a Ph.D. in Linguistics from Rice University, for which he wrote a grammar of Chatino, an indigenous language of Mexico. In his time off, Rasch enjoys spending time with his wife, Nila, and experimenting with fermenting fruits and vegetables. He and Nila have one daughter.
