Looking to make a difference and connect with students from around the world?
Become a Global Mentor!
Are you eager to make a meaningful impact while forming connections with students
worldwide?
Look no further! Whether you're a seasoned UNT student or a newcomer to campus, Global
Mentors offers a unique opportunity for growth, support, and exploration.
As a mentor, you'll play a crucial role in helping new international students adjust
to life at UNT and explore Denton.
This is a fantastic opportunity to share your experiences, practice leadership, and
contribute to a welcoming community.
As a mentor, it is your responsibilty to "check in" with your mentees once a week
- this can be anything from attending a UNT International event together, grabbing
a coffee, or meeting to study!
You'll also work with other mentors to plan once-a-month "field trips" to any of the
many free events happening around Denton, DFW, or even here on campus!
Mentors must be undergraduate students who have been at UNT at least one long semester.
Calling all new international students!!
Let experienced students guide you through life at UNT, help you settle in, and show
you around Denton.
Discover new friendships, gain insights, and make the most out of your university
experience :-)
This is an opportunity for you to meet other students at UNT that have been in your
shoes.
Mentees are required to join a welcome meeting, meet with their mentors once a week,
and join group "field trips" once a month.
Don't miss out on this opportunity to connect with a supportive community!
All new undergraduate international students are invited to be mentees.
