Shannon Geary

Shannon Geary received a BA in International Studies at Southwestern University and an MA in Linguistics at Texas A & M Commerce. She taught English as a Foreign Language in Madrid, Spain for 10 years before moving to Fort Worth to teach English as a Second Language at Lake Worth and Keller Independent School Districts. Prior to joining UNT in Denton, she taught at UNT’s Program at Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka, Japan, and English for Academic Purposes to international students at The Language Company on the campus of Texas Wesleyan University.
