International Affairs is proud to display the peace pole, a symbol of UNT’s commitment to global engagement and campus internationalization.

The 10-foot peace pole is a hand-crafted limestone structure that features the word "Peace" in various languages spoken around the world. Peace poles are located in 180 countries worldwide.

In a campus community with over 7,000 international students and scholars, the peace pole serves as a reminder of International Affairs’ dedication to welcoming different cultures and people from across the globe to learn and grow together.

The newly installed peace pole is located outside the southeast corner of Marquis Hall.

Stop by to reflect on and appreciate our global community here at UNT!
