J-1 Exchange Students

J-1 student visas are an exchange visitor visa type. The J-1 student visa is part of the U.S. Department of State's initiative to promote the mutual and collaborative international educational exchange of expertise, teaching and research. Students on a J-1 student visa receive the majority of their funding from outside personal resources.
